Rare earth boride nanoparticles prepared by chemical reaction are synthesized by surfacemodification and dispersion into organic carriers, which belong to non-toxic, low ash energy saving and emission reduction products.It has remarkable anti-wear,anti-friction,anti-oxidant and anti-corrosive properties,fuel and power economy.The addition of internal combustion engine oil can significantly improvethe maximum non-sticking bite load,cleanliness, anti-oxidation, anti-wear and anti-friction properties. It is a new type of energy-saving lubricant.
Compared with traditional friction modifiers such as organic molybdenumand nano-copper, they have low cost,light color, less toxicity than traditional sulfur and phosphorus antifriction agents, and higher temperature resistance and corrosion resistance than fatty acids.
